Manufactured in the 1930's by Messer Grieheim, Germany as a part of a underwater petrol burner system. This is the 'Oven' where the oxygen was heated before being lead to the diver. A wood fire heated the kettle with water where the oxygen was lead through to be heated.  The actual brass Burners do show up every now and then but these kettles are extremely rare.
